Privacy Policy

How we handle your personal information. Last updated 26 October 2026.

This policy explains what personal information the Amethyst Online website (amethystonline.in) collects, why, and what you can do about it. We have kept it short because we collect very little.

Who we are

The website is run by Amethyst Online Consultants Pvt Ltd, Plot # 121/8, Sector 8, MVP Colony, Visakhapatnam – 530017, India. In this policy, "we" and "us" mean that company. You can reach us at admin@amethystonline.in.

What we collect

What you send us. If you use the contact form, we receive the details you type in: your email address, your message, and your name if you choose to give it. You may also put other personal information in your message. Please share only what you are comfortable sending.

Technical data. Like any website, our web server automatically logs each request: your IP address, the date and time, the page requested, the response code, the browser and device type (user agent) and the referring page, if any. The captcha service described below also receives technical data from your browser.

We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking tools, and we do not build profiles of visitors. We do not ask you to create an account.

Why we use it, and our legal basis

  • To reply to your enquiry. We use the form details only to read and answer your message and to follow up on it. You are asking us to contact you, and we rely on your consent, which you give by sending the form, and on our legitimate interest in running our business.
  • To keep the site secure and free of spam. Server logs and the captcha help us spot abuse and attacks. This is our legitimate interest.

We do not use your details for marketing mailing lists, and we do not make automated decisions about you.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We use these service providers to run the site:

  • Web3Forms (privacy policy) receives the form submission and emails it to us.
  • hCaptcha, operated by Intuition Machines, Inc. (privacy policy), checks that a form is sent by a person and not a bot. It processes technical data such as your IP address and browser and device signals.
  • Google Workspace hosts the mailbox that receives the form emails.
  • OVH provides the hosting network for the dedicated server that runs this website.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights and the security of the site.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for as long as needed to handle your enquiry, and for a reasonable period afterwards in case of follow-up questions or a business relationship. After that we delete them. Web server logs are rotated daily and kept for about a week. The retention periods of Web3Forms and hCaptcha are set out in their own policies.

Cookies

This website does not set any cookies of its own, and it does not store anything in your browser. The captcha loads only when you first click or tap into the contact form. When it does, hCaptcha (on its own domain) may set a short-lived cookie used for bot detection. If you never touch the form, no captcha is loaded and no cookies are set. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

Where your information is processed

We are based in India, and our website is served from a server in the OVH network that appears to be in Canada. Web3Forms, hCaptcha and Google may process data in other countries, including the United States and the European Union. By sending the form you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in these countries. Where privacy law requires safeguards for such transfers, we rely on the safeguards these providers describe in their own policies.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • ask what personal information we hold about you, and get a copy;
  • ask us to correct information that is wrong;
  • ask us to delete your information;
  • object to, or ask us to limit, how we use it, and withdraw your consent at any time (this does not affect what we did before).

India. Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask for access, correction and erasure of your personal data, and you can nominate someone to exercise these rights for you. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

EU, UK and similar laws (GDPR / UK GDPR). You have the rights listed above and may complain to your local data protection authority.

California (CCPA/CPRA). You can ask to know, correct or delete your personal information. We do not sell or share personal information for advertising, and we will not treat you differently for making a request.

To make a request, email admin@amethystonline.in. We may need to confirm it is really you before we act, and we will reply within a reasonable time.

Children

This website is for businesses and is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you think a child has sent us their details, email us and we will delete them.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS, and form messages are sent to the form processor over an encrypted connection. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not send passwords, payment card numbers or other highly sensitive information through the form.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page and update the date below.
